There is a waterfall in the center of a forest. It has been marked many times. The last time a wolf marked it was years ago. There are snowy mountains a couple miles north of the forest. In the mountains are many abandoned dens. Moonlight and Midnight started pacing in front of the waterfall. They were unsure if they should claim it or not. Midnight said,"What do you think, brother?" Moonlight looked behind the waterfall. He nodded,"Yes." They began marking their new den.

After they marked it they began making their own modifications. Moonlight started digging and Midnight was making a snare out of vines. Moonlight started helping him when they heard an elk scramble past. They looked up from their work to see what was going on. They saw elk running past them wildly. They started back to their work when they realized how hungry they were. They decided to take a brake and hunt. "Which one do you want, Moonlight?" asked Midnight. "Take your pick, Midnight." replied Moonlight.

Starbella had been running for quite a while. She was in her star wolf form. She had her chain and collar around her neck. The collar was dragging along behind her. She couldn't seem to get off by herself. She was bleeding on her back from the whip marks from where the humans she was running from had beaten her. She then made a howl that was a cry for help. She was looking for someone to give her a safe place to hide and recover from her wounds. She hoped and prayed that someone would answer her cry.

ooc: thanks i was beginning to wonder where i was going to use her this seems like the perfect place.

ic: Moonlight was just about to pounce when he heard the cry. Both brothers' ears twitched. Midnight and Moonlight howled together. The howl told Starbella,"COME HEAR, WE CAN HELP YOU!" They sat down and waited for her to come.

ic: Starbella heading towards the howls direction. She was afraid she continued to run she was getting tired and weak. She made it to them and looked at them with her weak eyes and exhaustion. She said to them telepathically, "where can I hide, they you for helping me? I really could use to lay down, so tired." The collar around her neck had tightened slightly from where she was running so much. The chain was flowing around her body now tightening around her making her wounds bleed more from where she ran. The humans could heard getting closer yelling, "we are going to kill you, your little witch!! How dare you escape our grasp!!!!" They continued to yell this as they slowly neared closer.

Midnight pushed her into their den with his front paws and continued setting snares with Moonlight. They pretended she wasn't their so they humans didn't catch her. Moonlight pounced on a rabbit and shared it with his brother. Midnight and Moonlight saw an elk and pounced on it. They went inside the den dragging it with them and they offered Starbella some of it.

The humans seemed to just run past them not seeing her at all inside the den. She went in after being nudged and had laid down to rest to tired to stand much longer. Starbella had fallen asleep until they brought the elk in to the den. The smell of the fresh killed elk woke her up. She stood and went and began to eat some of the elk. She was ate like she hadn't eat in 3 days like she was almost starved. She ate till she had her fill and she laid back down. She then said, "I am Starbella, what are your names?" she seemed a little afraid of them but not as much as she was the humans. she winced a little bit as the chain curled around her body tighter and cut in her whip marks and her collar was trying to chock her. She then said, "would you guys mind helping me get this chain off me and this collar off please?" She asked she hadn't felt free in a long time, she still had the mindset of a slave. She just wanted to be free again and this first step was getting this stuff off of her.

Moonlight said," I am Moonlight. And this is my brother, Midnight." Moonlight and Midnight counted to three then bit either side of the collar and ripped it off without hurting Starbella. "Is that better?" they said together.
