the lost art of the sword (William and Kisuki)
random title, random idea
through the streets of edo, two children run and play. a few years later, one child stands, bearing a wooden sword and the crest of a dojo and a master at the grave of the other child. another few years later, that child has grown, and mastered the sword art of Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu, and earned the name Battosai and is seen as a symbol of honor. later that year, the revolution of the Bakumatsu era comes. she leaves to fight for the rebels, her honor tarnished but still in tact. she earns the title Hitokiri Battosai. the bakumatsu ends, and she disappears. a rurouni, a wandering samurai appears. she vows never to kill again as her journey starts with a clean sword and a face no one knows and the name and title rurouni. this is where our story begins "do not meddle in the affairs of cats, for they are subtle and will piss on your computer."(or itouch, Kiarra adds) "do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup" |

RE: the lost art of the sword (William and Kisuki)
A man walks through the streets of Edo, Time lost to him. "Takahiro!" a man called out and he turned and saw a woman beside him and Takahiro walked over having never said a word since he lost his voice during a ceremony gone horribly wrong, He had been traveling to see if he could find a way to gain it back.
"you've come to Edo again..something has always drawn you here." The woman said smiling. "are you hungry?" She asked and he just simply nodded and followed them inside. After awhile of eating and listening to them talk about their life together he smiled and stood and bowed to them. The Woman a long time childhood friend stood and taking an Umbrella she gave it to him, "please..take it. A gift from us to our great friend." She said. HE smiled and took it and bowed again before leaving. He walked along the streets looking and watching the people smiling at the kids as he dreamed of having a family of his own. I am the sword that cuts down my enemies, I am the shield that defends my friends and loved ones. |

RE: the lost art of the sword (William and Kisuki)
The girl follows the path. None would think she is an assassin or a sword-master just a merchant with her sword tied to her basket the way it is. Only another master with a practiced eye could see the unconscious grace in her step, the stretch and flow of her muscles in the way of one used to swift and greatly powerful movements. She thinks on her style. Speed of body, speed of sword, speed at reading the movements of opponents that allows one to take down man after man with the least possible movement

Takahiro reached a courtyard and sat and closed his eyes listening to the winds allowing the sweet scent of Sakura Pedals fill the air around him.

The girl arrives at the place she is staying tonight. A hotel of sorts in the grove of cherry blossoms. She pays and goes to her room

The girl silently lays out the contents of her basket. Bloody clothes and sword of a hitokiri, clean clothes and sakabato of a wandering samurai

RE: the lost art of the sword (William and Kisuki)
The girl senses a powerful, blatantly honest and powerful fighting chi. She walked out and saw Hitokiri Gensai. He looked like he had turned evil. She feared for the life of other revolutionaries of the Meiji Era.

Takahiro felt a presence and walking quickly saw a girl and a man face to face looking at each other. He placed his hand on his blade but didn't make a move. his umbrella he left in his room. He watched and waited keeping his Demon dragon aura from going berserk.
