ACTA

RE: ACTA
Only because we have let them, and even at that you might be surprised by the misinformation they have. All they can honestly know is whatever is allowed to go into their servers. If you refuse to use google maps as a GPS and do not have an android phone, then they cannot ever get your exact location. If you refuse to have private messages sent to you through their mail service, then they cannot see what was being discussed in that message. It holds true all the way across, so if they know too much or have too much power we only have ourselves to blame for giving them the access.

RE: ACTA
On another note related to google & the loveliness of their updated policies... Anyone who did notice the few existing ads (which were from google adsense) can see they have been removed. That is an indication of my personal opinion of merging all of that information - adsense is/will be covered by their "global" policy and I refused to intentionally allow my bank account info to be merged like that.

That is strange and hope it will not happen to the future.
