I felt distant from my people, so I left. I searched for where I belonged. My search had come to a horrible halt when I was captured by a greedy human. I was tortured by him and his men. When I was alone, I would sit by the window and long for myself to join the birds that would fly freely to my window. They were not chained down nor caged, they could roam anywhere and everywhere. If only that was me. But I am enclosed in cold walls, they took away my freedom. I could only dream of being on the other side of these walls those days I was locked away in that tower by myself


I was very young, my life was that of a slave. My spirit and freedom bond by chains in an enclosed space. What was I to do other than sit in my loneliness and feel my spirit become empty. I would try, it seemed daily to free myself from the shackles around my wrists and feet. Constantly banging them against a cold, hard surface, desperately waiting for the crackle of freedom in the metal chains. There was fear in my heart so I darned not to try and escape. But one day , I gave up. I gave up waiting around for my freedom, I had to act myself. I'm not sure what provoked my decision but it was probably a glimmer of hope. I went forth with my plan.

"I was perhaps the only one who could see past his damages and see who he really was inside. A hero and a protector." Goes through my head, as I try to escape. "Even though he had hurt me so much, I would always seem to find myself forgetting it all because only one thing mattered to me. I loved him. I felt like he seemed to know but I could never be sure."

Johnny was captured by a group of men. He had try to run but they got him. he is throw into a cell. He trys to find a way to get out but he quit. There was no way out.

I heard the door of the room below mine in the tower open. I heard someone try to get out. I heard them quit because it was hopeless. I redoubled my own efforts. I could not give up yet. I heard raven caw nearby.

Johnny crosses his arms and leans against the wall to thing. as he hits something which opens a door. Johnny looks to make sure no one saw than he goes inside which closes after him.

I am starting to give up again. I just can't break the damn chains. Why? Why do I have to be chained like a dog?!?!

as he goes up he hears somebody say something but he can't make it out. He opens a door to see a another cell with a girl in it.

I tug at them again. And again. And again. Then I look up to see a person standing there. Male, I think. Its been so long since I've seen another person. Years, I thing. It feels like it. So other people do have eyes with color? They do look like me? At least I'm not so different. The nameless voiceless ones here don't. They have white eyes, and white colorless hair. They do not speak, and with a touch they can put you into a deep sleep that you will not wake from unless they touch you again. There is a way to kill them, I know for sure because I saw them hold a funeral, but I do not know what it is. "Why?!?!" I curse under my breath to myself.

It was a girl. he looks at her and says "come with me if you want out."

She stares at him. "I would. But I can't."

He looks at her and ask "You sure?"
