Running Blind

Amara was sitting by port hole on board her star ship. The stars just went by so quickly. She continued to watch as a woman walked up behind her.
"Captian, you shouldn't look out port holes all the time you might become really crazy," Her 1st mate joked.
"Well you don't see what I see," she joked back.
"What is it that you then?" her 1st mate asked.
"I see a vast empire my friend where everyone gets along and we have no one to fear but ourselves," Amara said.
Then all of a sudden alarm start going off around them.
"General Quarters General Quarters all hands man your battle stations!" Blares over the 1 MC.
"Run!" Amara said heading to the bridge.
When they get to the bridge they find the enemy to be borg.
"Crap go full out tactical now," she said.
Everyone gets ready to see borg streaming to take over the ship. There was nothing but heavy silence and the heavy breathing of Captian Amara.
Then the Borg disappear and they see something more terrifying.
"Get us out of here!" She screamed to engineering.
"We trying Captian," said her chief engineer.

She braced for the beems of light that would hit the ship. She had floor plans from all over the ship.
"She was looking at evacuation of the whole ship they that were pregnant status and Limited Duty due to injuries. We have to get everyone off the ship she thought we cannot lose.
A few minutes away another star ship hears the distress beacon from Amara's ship.
"We have to help them," the young man said.
"Are you sure captain what if it's a trap?" his first in command asked.
"Well Romona we'll never know unless we go," the man said.
"Yes sir," she retorted.
He man turns to his helmsman.
"Ok Rori lets get moving and lets go to tactical alert," he finishes smoothly

The USS Baton Rogue sped its way to the USS Earth Seed. As they neared they saw the horridness of the beings attacking the ship.
"Send a message to the enemy tell them if they don't leave federation space it will be considered an act of war," he said to the communications officers.
She swore in Spanish quickly. She put her comm into her ear and began to talk broadcasting on all frequencies the message. Meanwhile on Earth Seed the captain hears the message.
"Well I'll be a female dog in heat!" she said.
The enemy had stopped firing and gone away as quick as they had came. Both captains sit down in their chairs. Her comm chimes gently.
"Well now captain Terra it's been a while has it not," his voice as smooth a milk.
"Captian William it has been a while has it not?" She said coyly.
"How would you like to join me for dinner?" he asked.
"I don't know last time it almost got me killed," she said.
"Well I'm sure there are no zindi on board this time," he mused.
"Beam about about 1900 tonight," he said cutting off communications.

Terra swore under her breath as the comm link between ship cut off.
" That old son of a gun," she yelled.
After that she begins to focus on the task around her. The ship was battle scared and things had to be fixed. She touch her comm pad on her chair.
"Tavis get the ships repairs going start on the engineering deck and and the bridge.," she said.
