Technical stuff
a member having problems with their speakers,

Please assist me set up a wireless speaker kit
I'm sorry if I am in the wrong thread. I am searching for some help and advice concerning how to set up some home speakers. To prevent speaker cord disorder, I had acquired a 5.8 GHz wireless loudspeaker system for my surround speakers. The transmitter hooks up to the surround receiver rear speaker outputs. Ordinarily the transmitter goes into standby after a couple of minutes of not having received music. Interestingly, my AV receiver will keep giving off a hum when in standby. This stops the wireless transmitter from entering stand by. The main problem is that my loudspeakers keep sending out exactly the same kind of humming sound while the AV receiver is in stand by. Surprisingly there isn't a hum coming from my receiver when it's active. I wouldn't imagine that this may be a ground loop challenge. I don't know whether there are any good remedies for this particular challenge. Perhaps I'm going to need to physically remove the receiver from power every time. Many thanks for offering suggestions.
