The Forest of Shadows (feel free 2 join)

Even in the darkest of places, light can be found, if one is wise enough to look. The Forest of Shadows is a place where some of the most vile, evil creatures live. However, it is said to also house one of the purest of souls ever created. Philosophers, saints, sinners, marters, thieves, all have a place amongst the trees and creatures. Here, good souls can be corrupted, evil souls can show compassion, and telling the difference between the two can be as difficult as it is vital.

Sonja walks slowly allong the winding path, leading her deeper and deeper into the forest. Above her, the stars are hardly visible through the thichet of branches that cover the sky like a black croshay blanket. "I suppose they did not name it the Forest of shadows for nothing, right, Ryu?" she said, more to herself then the small, floating ball of fire going round and round her head like a small halo, lighting the path ahead.
