Unknown Anime Help!!!!!

Hm so i have a faint memory of an animated movie and for the slightest reason i cant find it anywhere online. So with your help im hoping to be able to locate proper information upon this movie.

From what i remember there is a guy walking and he runs into this ghost carnival type thing. There was a queen and he falls in love with the ghost princess, she hides in his umbrella when the sun is out. Him and her decide to go to these hammers (with hope of avoiding them), that erase your memory and allow you to be reborn. They both dont make it through and he is sad but she ends up in his umbrella.

any help or information would be extravegant.

oh..I cant seem to remember any story with that situation. Hope some pro anime lovers can help us here. Im not really familiar with that one..
