The ground was covered with snow and the forest was quiet. The snow had no tracks or anything on it.

There was a furry creature hiding in a snowy den.

Starbella was walking in her werewolf form on the hunt for some food. She stopped sensing something else. She waited to see what was out there. She gave a howl asking who was there. She waited for the reply with her body on full guard.

There was no reply from the creature, he quickly jumped onto the trees. He looked down and bounded away.

Starbella sighed as she heard no response. She was feeling lonely and just wanting someone to talk to. She continued to walk until she found a nice soft peace of ground to lay on near a lake. She laid down near the water listening to it rush by and feeling the peace the water gave her. After a bit of laying down she got up and drank out of the lake and then laid back down. The loneliness began to show in Starbella's eyes as she laid back down to rest. She put her wolf head on her paws. Hoping she found a friend to talk to deep in these woods.

The creature made a rustling sound in a bush near Starbella. It looked at her and let out a loud howl.
