Athena gave him a quizzical look as Sarita continued to run as she was being chased by her father. She smiled and goes, "God I love my life. Thank you for this place." Sarita then continued to run around the house as her father chased her.

jake chased Sarita around, and tricked her into going the way he was going.

Sarita then ran the way he was going but as she did she didn't see the metal chest in her path and managed to trip over it. When she fell she grabbed her ankle and began to cry, her ankle wasn't broke your sprained or anything but had a slight bruise from the metal chest. Athena had gone to the kitchen to fix some drinks unaware what was going on.

Jake ran over to Sarita. "let me see your Ankle." He said soothingly. He then dried her tears with his thumb. "You're going to be ok. dad's here." He said, holding her. He let a water droplet fall from his eye, and it landed on the bruise. He then kissed the bruise as it faded. "See? you'll be ok." jake said, kissing Sarita's forehead.

Sarita held up her arms to Jake wanting him to hold her. She didn't seem to mind him kissing her forehead the fall had scared her and wanted her fathers comfort. When the man that attacked their home realized that it hadn't burned down and that Athena wasn't dead. He became angry and goes, "how in the world do I finish this girl off? Why won't she just die?" He then off in cave had began to plan how to kill Athena, since she was the only one that could put him away for the murder of her family.

Sarita then goes, "daddy what is that?" Just then a loud explosion could be heard just outside the Athena's home and Athena jumps and goes, "what was that?" Sarita became scared and clung to her new father.

Outside she heard a cat meowing at Athena's door and Athena then goes, "that sounds like a cat?" She said and as she did she went to her door and found this cat. http://cats.about.com/library/graphics/f...flavor.jpg
Athena picked up the huge mommy cat and goes, "Sarita want this kitty too?" trying to get her daughter to calm down after the explosion. Athena shut her door and the big momma cat jumped down and went to the two small kittens and began to bathe the kittens. The kittens had a look that said, "we don't want a bath. But oh well."

"What was that?" Jake said, his fingers turning to phoenix feathers, the beginning of his transformation. "We Can keep the cat, wanna go check out the explosion?" Jake asked, looking At Athena.

Just then the cat knowing it was a trap began to try and block the door sitting her big body in front of it and meowed at Sarita and goes, "no go outside, danger." Sarita then goes, "the cat said there is danger and not to go outside. I think maybe we should listen to her." Just then another explosion hit and this time it was getting closer to Athena's house. Sarita jumped and her kittens jumped in her arms she held them close she was getting really scared.

"We need to check it out. It's not good for those explosions to be close, and they are getting closer." Jake said, worried. he went to full phoenix form, and wrapped them in his wings.
