Athena snapped out of it, and goes, "that was cold." She saw Sarita afraid and goes, "come here baby." As Athena went to hug Sarita then goes, "mommy your arm, it on fire." Just then when she said that her kittens woke up and she goes, "go wet a rag and bring it to me quickly." The kittens ran off and when they got there they knocked in a rag into the clean dish water for rinsing. When they did that both of the kittens fell into the water and meowed and hissed at the water as they got out holding the rag in their mouths and it was dripping wet. They jumped down in unison holding the rag in their mouth walking in the room all wet and with a look on their face that said, "we didn't want to be wet." Sarita and Athena laughed seeing them as Sarita took the rag and put out the fire on Athena's arm with the wet rag. Athena winced feeling weaker due to the fire when the fire was completely smothered on her arm, Sarita moved it and saw the bad burn on her mothers arm and yelled, "DADDY Mommy's arm was on fire and it burned really bad, help!!!"

Jake landed next to Athena, and turned back into human. He automatically wrapped his arms around her, and comforted her. "Athena, it's all right. I'm here. let me see your arm." he said, holding her arm close.

Athena calmed as Jake's arms went around him and showed him her severally burned arm. Her arm was really hurting it was close to a 3rd Degree burn on her arm. She leaned her head back against him and for the first time in a long time she felt calm. She closed her eyes trying to put her mind away from the pain of the burn on her arm.

"let me see your burn." Jake said, looking at her. "don't say you're hurt, because I can feel it in you."

She wasn't thinking of saying that but she lifted up her arm and showed him her 3rd Degree Burn. Just holding her arm up was hurting her even more. The fire was still deep into her bones. She was trying hard not to cry but she felt herself getting weaker. Sarita looked to Jake and goes, "daddy is mommy going to be okay?"

" She will, as soon as I take care of the burn." Jake said, as he worked up a couple of tears. He let them drop on her burn, and watched as the burn started bubbling and disappearing. he watched as a blue mist covered her, and worked around her, targeting her burns.

Athena cried as the fire was being taken from her arm as Jake's tears touched her burn. She then noticed that burn in her muscles was beginning to fade. She also watched as the burn began to slowly disappear. She felt the burn in her arm go away completely. She then watched as the blue mist made the burn on her arm go completely away. She watched as this happened and goes, "how did this happen? it all gone?" She was so completely amazed that she forgot he was a phoenix.

Athena then goes, "oh yeah you told me that, sorry forgot through amazement." She leaned up and kissed him happily and goes, "I love you Jake." Just then Sarita goes, "grossy mommy and daddy kissing." Athena began to laugh and goes, "one day dear you will enjoy being kissed by a guy." Sarita then goes, "no I want kissing is gross." Athena began to laugh and goes, "what you say we tickle her and kiss her on her cheek."
