The Two Masks of a Dork (Author's Note) - Constantly Updated -
The story is based on a real life experience therefore some of the conversations may contain contexts which may be unsuitable for some readers. Do NOT post anything in the thread of the actual story. All post related to the story should be posted here.

The story takes place in an Asian catholic school;,therefore some of the characters may have English or American first names. Some terms may be unfamiliar to readers and will be explained in the following.

Student Council: An organization composed of students elected by majority votes by other students to represent them in school politics. Students who win a seat in the election are called Ministers (American term are Secretary of something). The student council also has a duty to organize events for the students so the students may have a more exciting and fun school life.

Example: Minister of Finance = Secretary of Treasury

Prefect Board: An organization composed of students selected by school teachers to assist the discipline board to monitor the school discipline and enforce school rules. Students who are part of this organization are called prefects. The duties of a prefect are quite similar to hall monitors.

St. John Ambulance: A non-government organization with almost similar duties and objectives as the American Red Cross.

Secondary School: For most Asian countries do not use the terms elementary school, middle school or high school. Instead the terms primary school for students age 7-12 and secondary school for students age 13-17 are used.

Form: Instead of using the term Grade, some Asian schools use the term Standard and Form.

Example: Standard 1 = Grade 1, Standard 6 = Grade 6, Form 1 = Grade 7, Form 5 = Grade 11

Ground Floor: Following British system, British Ground floor = American 1st floor, British 1st floor = American 2nd floor
