Chapter 1: The Hunt

OokamiWolf walked quickly towards Minami. Silently slinking closer he noticed Minami wasn't alone. He glanced at the other wolf and saw it was only Mina so he continued silently and quickly. I followed him quietly and wondered what he was looking at then I looked behind me to make sure they were still there and saw the wolves following me. I looked forward and continued. I saw OokamiWolf stop ahead of us so I cautiously trotted towards him when Kurai jumped over me and stopped me. I whispered,"What? Why can't we continue?" He answered in a whisper,"He hasn't stopped to wait for us to catch up, he has stopped to avoid being seen or heard."

I nodded but then simply pushed passed him. At that moment Kuro jumped ahead of me to stop me but I kept on pushing through. They kept refusing to let me pass until finally I whispered,"Knock it off Kurai, Kuro. OokamiWolf didn't say you could come to protect me. He gave you the order to listen to us." At that they got angry but moved out of my way. I walked forward and got to OokamiWolf. "Get back. This is too dangerous." He said to me. I whispered,"No, I want to be with you. Mina is for me to take out anyway." He replied,"Fine, but wait for my signal to come out. It will be a raise of my right paw and then I'll lick it."

After that he quietly crept out of hiding, leaving me behind the trees and bushes. Kurai and Kuro came over to me and the rest of the pack followed. YukiHyo stood at my side as he was the Beta Male. Then Tsuyoi uttered a small growl as he walked up to me.I waited for OokamiWolf to give the signal but he didn't. OokamiWolf said to Minami,"Is this how you treat your pack? Leaving them alone in an open den with the Betas, Deltas, and Omegas off hunting?"
